TREASURE ATOP THE MOUNTAIN

Gracie Howard had a very tough life. At the young age of eleven years old she lost her family and her hand.  The nightmares still resurface and at the age of eighteen they show no signs of slowing down.  Despite her hardships, she is an overcomer and pours all her energy into her grandfather’s ice cream shop.  And the one thing she is looking forward to is the national ice cream contest.

Kage arrives in town, he’s alone, has no place to live and searching for his sister.  He meets Gracie and their friendship quickly blossoms.  They both need each other as they navigate the challenges they’ve faced. Their shared past experiences have taught them that each other is their only source of strength.

“Treasure atop the Mountain” by Tonya L. Matthews is an extraordinary story of resilience, hope and faith.  This captivating story took me on a journey from heartbreak to healing, leaving me emotionally invested and inspired. The narrative’s uplifting nature made me reach for the Kleenex repeatedly.

This remarkable story will leave a lasting impact on my heart. I was deeply moved by the characters of Gracie and Kage, and their journey demonstrates the power of perseverance. This exceptional book broke my heart into pieces and gradually mended them, leaving me with a profound sense of hope and gratitude. I highly recommend this phenomenal book to anyone seeking an inspiring and uplifting read.
