A LIGHTHOUSE CHRISTMAS

MY THOUGHTS:

When Mia Broadhurst’s Grandma passes away, Christmas just won’t be the same.  Mia decides to return to Winsted Cape, an absolutely beautiful seaside village.  Now completely blanketed in Christmas snow, it is the only place Mia wants to be to feel closer to her grandmother during the holidays.  Mia lives and works in New York City at a Public Relations firm.  So keeping up the Lighthouse that her Grandma Ruth used to run isn’t going to work for Mia.  Mia works with realtor Will Thacker and they begin to restore the Lighthouse so that she can sell it.  Will and Mia are spending a lot of time together working on the Lighthouse, and Will is working through his own heartbreaking issues. But when, Mia, her mother and her sister are packing up her Grandma Ruth’s possessions, Mia finds an old black and white photo with an inscription on it.  When Mia finds out the truth about the inscription, will she return to New York and never look back at Winsted Cape, or at the Lighthouse again,  or will it change her life forever?

I absolutely loved this story.  The “Queen of Christmas” Jenny Hale, never disappoints.  The characters in this book felt like family, while the detailed description of the village and the Lighthouse whisks you away to the Cape.  This story literally brought joy to my heart. Grab a blanket, a hot cup of cocoa, and let the holiday season begin.  This beautifully written and heartwarming, magical Christmas story is sure to be a favorite.

Thank you Jenny Hale for another heartwarming, inspirational and uplifting story.  This is one that will continue to resonate in me for a very long time.  This, read in one sitting, unputdownable, phenomenal page turner, is a wonderful and beautiful must read and I highly recommend this book.

A totally perfect and heartwarming page-turner about everyone’s favorite time of year––the beauty of being at home with family, believing in second chances, and the magic of Christmas, when anything is possible…

When Mia Broadhurst’s grandmother passes away, Mia returns to the quaint seaside village of Winstead Cape, where Grandma Ruth ran the historic lighthouse on the edge of the coast. Mia can’t bear to part with the last piece of her grandma––the lighthouse that has been in their family for generations––but with her life back in New York, she has no choice.

With the snow falling, Mia works with real estate agent Will Thacker to restore the old lighthouse. She tries not to get lost in his deep blue eyes that match the Atlantic Ocean. After all, she’s only back for Christmas…

As a fire crackles, Mia packs up Grandma Ruth’s belongings. Waiting for her is a black-and-white photograph with a faded inscription on the back—the key to a family secret hidden for decades. Could the truth save the lighthouse and show Mia where her heart belongs?
