CHRISTMAS IN FOCUS
Millie Rowan is a photographer in Charleston, South Carolina. She knows that being a photographer is not easy, especially a successful one. She is ready to give up all hope of becoming successful until she is offered her dream job. Even though it is a temporary job, she accepts it. It is located at a ski lodge at Alpine Ridge, Vermont. She is hired to develop a marketing portfolio for the lodge.
With the beautiful Christmas snow falling outside and the roaring fires inside, she is feeling very festive and so thankful for her new job. She soon meets Luke Thayer, the town chairman. The magic of Christmas and thoughts of attending the holiday events with Luke, make her heart flutter. But Christmas may not be the merriest when Luke discovers why Millie is actually there.
“Christmas In Focus” by Lindsay Gibson is an amazing, festive read that hits all the feels. I was immediately transported into the Christmas season and to snowy Vermont. I could feel the cold mountain air on my skin and as the snow fell, I was ready to build a snowman. I loved the mystery woven into this story of the generations of families feuding over land rights of the resort and how Millie became entwined in the feud.
This amazing escape has me ready to put up the tree and hang the twinkle lights. I absolutely love the writing style of Lindsey Gibson. This unputdownable book is one that I won’t soon forget. If you are ready for a small-town Christmas, filled with snow, cold weather and hot chocolate, this is exactly the book you need to focus on. I loved everything about this story and I highly recommend it.
