TEN CHRISTMASES WITHOUT YOU
Christmas time is coming once again and for Emmy Brewer it’s a holiday she would like to skip over. It’s the tenth Christmas without her mom. But this year is different not only is she missing her mom, but she doesn’t like her job and needs to find purpose in her life.
When Emmy’s sister, arrives for their annual Christmas together, she arrives with a surprise that Emmy wasn’t expecting. She invites Emmy’s childhood crush and former neighbor, Charlie Russell to their family Christmas. Emmy needs to make a major change in her life, is Charlie the one that will help her make that change?
“Ten Christmases Without You” by Jenny Hale is a heartwarming festive read that I loved from cover to cover. I felt Emmy’s pain from the loss of her mother. Grief always seems to creep up around the holidays. But reminiscing and hope always helps to make it through. I loved the plot twist and turn with the surprise mystery that was discovered about her mother.
This story propelled me into the Christmas season. With the stunning cover and the phenomenal storyline, this is an absolute must read for anyone that is ready to cozy up by the fire, wrapped up in warm blanket and sip some hot chocolate. Once you read this fabulous story, you too will be ready to haul out the Christmas decorations and put up the tree. I absolutely loved this story and I highly recommend it.
